Yasusuke Suzuki is a research manager in IDC Japan Storage Systems.Mr.Suzuki is responsible for storage software and storage service research.The storage software program covers areas such as storage management, storage replication, data protection and recovery, file systems and archiving software segments. Mr.Suzuki also delivers forecasts and analyses on storage services segments including storage-related consulting, integration, management and support services, as well as on-line storage service/backup service markets.

Mr. Suzuki has more than 22 years of experience within the IT industry. He came to IDC in 2002 from IBM, where he started the career as an LSI design engineer, and then moved to OEM business group of microelectronics and hard disk drive.

Mr. Suzuki received his Bachelor of Science in physics and Master of Science degree in System Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
