A senior Analyst for IDC Korea’s Communications Research Group, Min-Cheol Kim is responsible for research in the field of Telecommunications & Network. Min-Cheol's main responsibilities include supporting AP trackers and local syndicated research activity in addition to producing written analysis and reports regarding regional Telecommunications & Network CIS programs.
Prior to joining IDC, Min-Cheol worked at in the global business division of ARA Networks serving as a pre-sales engineer, corporate network consultant and designer. During this time he garnered in-depth experience in several PoCs and BMTs with Router and Switch for various internet service providers. Prior to joining ARA Networks, Min-Cheol was an IDS (Intrusion Detection System) engineer for SK Telecom where he was responsible for the establishment and stabilization of IDS for SK Telecom network operations.
Min-Cheol earned a Masters of Engineering in Information Security from the SungKyunkwan University Graduate School, Seoul, Korea. He also holds CISSP, CCNP, and CCNA certifications.
