Abstract
This IDC Survey presentation is based on IDC Energy Insights’ 2024 Global Utilities and Oil and Gas Survey. The survey, conducted between November 2023 and January 2024, is a landmark study of the world’s utilities operators.
The 600 respondents included utilities and sub-industry companies. Of the 418 utilities that took part, data from 248 energy and water operators was used for extrapolation and analysis.
The goal of the research was to obtain insights into the current strategic business priorities of energy assets worldwide, including power generation companies, power network operators (T&D), gas networks, and water operators.
Organizations in the following countries participated in the survey: the U.K., the Nordics, the Netherlands, DACH, Spain, France, Poland, Italy, Romania, Turkey, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Nigeria, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.
