Ilona Stankeova is the research director for the IHD and Document Solutions Group, IDC CEMA. Based in Prague, the Czech Republic, she is responsible for the coordination of research in the area of imaging and hardcopy devices (IHD) and document solutions in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMA). This includes the Europe, the Middle East and Africa Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker,  the Europe, Middle East and Africa Semiannual Hardcopy Peripherals Consumables Tracker, large-format peripherals market research, and page volume and page share research.

In 2010, Stankeova was one of the key personnel involved in the launch of the Worldwide Page Volume and Page Share research, which provides total market size and vendor shares for single-function printer, multifunction peripherals (MFP), and single-function digital copier (SFDC) pages (prints/copies) and installed base.

Stankeova joined IDC CEMA in October 2000, initially creating reports on the IHD markets in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and the Baltic States. In 2005, she became responsible for the coordination of Quarterly Peripheral Trackers for the CEMA region and as of 2009, as a research director, she has overseen research in the IHD & Document Solutions area for the CEMA region.

Prior to joining IDC, Ilona Stankeova worked as a marketing assistant at an Internet marketing company in the U.K. and at the Anglo-American College in Prague. She also holds a diploma from the Higher Professional School of Information Services in Prague, with a specialization in Information Management. In addition to Czech and English, she speaks German.
