Daphne Chung is an Associate Research Director with IDC’s Asia/Pacific System Infrastructure Software Research Group. Based in Singapore, She leads the System Infrastructure Software and Application Deployment Software Research. Together with a team of country analysts, Daphne tracks and analyzes key dynamics and opportunities within these market areas in the region through the semiannual software tracker research.

Daphne joined IDC in 2001. Previous responsibilities were focused on life sciences and healthcare market research. To date, she has been regularly quoted in various media publications such as CFO Asia, CNet, CIO magazine, ComputerWorld and Sydney Morning Herald and etc. She has also been interviewed on CNBC and MediaCorp Radio. In addition, she has presented in key industry conferences and seminars around the region on various topics.

Daphne graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Masters of Science and a Bachelor of Science, Honors (Second Upper).
