This IDC study examines the customer service applications market for 2020–2023. Revenue and market share of the leading vendors are provided for 2022.

"While the customer service applications market experienced a dip in growth from 17.2% in 2021 to 13.7% in 2022, the double-digit growth in such a large market, one totally estimated at $15.4 billion, is exceptional," said Mary Wardley, VP, Customer Service and Contact Center at IDC. "This demonstrates the ongoing requirement to invest in customer-centric applications as sophistication and complexity of products and services increase demand for customer service rather than decreasing."
