Lorenzo Larini

Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer of IDC, responsible for leading the company’s global strategy, operations, and growth.

Lorenzo brings more than two decades of experience across the Research, Advisory Services, Enterprise Software, and AI sectors, most recently serving as CEO of Mint.ai, where he led the development of AI-driven workflow solutions. Previously, he served as CEO of Ipsos North America, where he led transformative growth for one of the world’s top market research and data analytics firms. He has also held global senior executive roles in Gartner’s technology division, including SVP of Executive Programs, advising global CIOs and enterprise leaders on digital transformation and operational excellence.

Beyond his executive roles, Larini actively contributes to industry leadership and development. He serves on the boards of the Ad Council and Harambeans.com, and as a Senior Fellow at the AI for Developing Countries Forum, championing the ethical use of AI to advance social equity, sustainable development, and digital opportunity in emerging economies.

Joe Bradley

Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer for IDC, Joe Bradley leads the company’s Engineering, Design, and Technical Product organization, setting the technical direction that supports IDC’s growth strategy and the AI-driven evolution of its products and platforms.

Joe joined IDC as SVP of AI and Chief Scientist, leading the company’s AI transformation and the development of the AI products now central to its innovation strategy. He stepped into the CTO role as AI grew into the core of IDC’s technology agenda.

Before IDC, Joe was SVP of Data Science & Machine Learning and Chief Scientist at LivePerson, where he built the AI research practice and launched its suite of conversational AI products. Earlier, he led Data & Personalization Science at Nike and headed Data & Analytics for Amazon Search. He began his career as a physicist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Joe holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Washington, an M.A. in Mathematics from San Francisco State University, and a B.A. in English Literature from Oberlin College

Renuka Drummond

General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Renuka Drummond is IDC’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and is responsible for IDC’s legal, corporate compliance, and data privacy functions. 

Renuka has over 20 years of experience driving transformational change within legal organizations by implementing technology and strategically developing teams. Prior to joining IDC, Renuka served as Chief Legal Officer at MediaKind, a video and media technology company spun out of Ericsson and a joint venture between Ericsson and One Equity Partners. She was instrumental in developing MediaKind’s legal, compliance, and privacy programs, was Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors, and led the company’s corporate development and DE&I programs.  

Previously, Renuka also held positions as Assistant General Counsel of Global M&A at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where she executed on Cognizant’s M&A strategy, and Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where she represented public and private companies in acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions. 

Renuka has a B.A. from Wellesley College and a J.D. from Fordham Law School. 

Tiziana Figliolia

Chief Financial Officer

Tiziana Figliolia is the Chief Financial Officer at IDC, where she oversees all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, procurement, real estate, and corporate development. 

With nearly three decades of experience, Tiziana has held leadership roles in publicly traded, private equity-backed, and pre-IPO technology companies, bringing deep financial and operational expertise across diverse business models and growth stages. 

Prior to IDC, Tiziana served as CFO at Hootsuite, a global leader in social media management, where she transformed and scaled the finance organization, accelerating the company’s path to profitability. She previously led Finance, Investor Relations, and ESG at InterDigital, and held the role of Senior Vice President of Global Business Operations at PTC. Earlier in her career, Tiziana spent 13 years at Autodesk, a global design software company, where she held senior leadership roles across three continents, including a nine-year tenure based in Shanghai, China. 

Tiziana serves on the boards of Full STEAM Forward and Global Women Asia. She holds an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business and Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, as well as a degree in Economics from Università Cattolica in Italy. 

Susan Hunsberger

Chief People Officer

Susan Hunsberger is IDC’s Chief People Officer, leading the company’s global human resources organization, including talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion, and strategic employee engagement initiatives. 

Susan brings extensive HR experience, having previously served in executive leadership roles across multiple industries. Prior to IDC, Susan was Chief Human Resources Officer at Simply Good Foods and also held senior HR roles at ServiceMaster and Nielsen.  

Susan holds a master’s degree in Organization Development from Bowling Green University and a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Personnel Management from Miami University of Ohio. 

Dave McKenna

Chief Information Officer & CISO

As Chief Information Officer for IDC, Dave McKenna oversees IT operations, cybersecurity, and the company’s enterprise AI automation and modernization initiatives. Leveraging deep expertise in data architecture, risk management, and strategic technology roadmaps, Dave plays a central role in aligning IDC’s technology capabilities with its broader business objectives.

Dave brings extensive experience in major system implementations, application portfolio management, and cybersecurity leadership across a diverse range of industries, including insurance, government, and financial services. Most recently, he served as VP of Platform Engineering and CISO for Monster. Prior to that, he held executive IT and security roles at Upland Capital Group, Narragansett Bay Insurance Company, and the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.

Dave holds a Master of Science in IT Management from Brandeis University and a Ph.D. in Information Technologies from Capella University. He holds certifications as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), and Project Management Professional (PMP). He is also a U.S. Army veteran.

Nick Mercurio

Chief Revenue Officer

As Chief Revenue Officer of IDC, Nick Mercurio leads the company’s global commercial organization, including Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations. He is responsible for accelerating growth, expanding customer value, and advancing IDC’s position as the technology intelligence layer of the AI economy.

Nick brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling enterprise commercial organizations across the data, analytics, technology, and insights industries. Most recently, he served as Chief Client & Growth Officer for North America at Ipsos, one of the world’s largest market intelligence and analytics firms. In that role, he led enterprise sales, account management, marketing, and growth strategy across a business approaching $1 billion in annual revenue, while helping drive sustained growth and leading strategic M&A and post-merger integration initiatives.

Prior to Ipsos, Nick held senior leadership positions at InMoment and Advantage Solutions, where he developed deep expertise in customer intelligence, data-driven services, enterprise software, and commercial transformation. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping organizations modernize how they use data, analytics, and intelligence to drive growth, improve decision-making, and create competitive advantage.

Nick serves on the Board of Directors of the Ad Council and is an active member of the Insights Association, the Institute for Real Growth, and The Female Quotient.

He holds an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.

Meredith Whalen

Chief Research & Data Intelligence Officer

As IDC’s Chief Research & Data Intelligence Officer, Meredith Whalen leads the company’s global research, data, product, and product marketing organizations — the teams responsible for creating and delivering the proprietary intelligence the tech industry runs on.

Under her leadership, IDC has repositioned from a research destination into the intelligence infrastructure layer of the AI economy. That transformation spans both strategy and structure: Meredith developed the strategy behind IDC Quanta, IDC’s AI platform grounding decision-ready intelligence in 60+ years of proprietary data and 15 billion data points, and restructured the research organization from regional silos into global research domains and centers of excellence — enabling IDC’s analysts to concentrate on what only humans can do.

Meredith joined IDC as a senior analyst and has since built some of the company’s most consequential practices, including IDC’s Industry Research and IT Executive programs, and led IDC’s research expansion from a vendor-focused model to one that equally serves enterprise technology buyers.

A sought-after speaker, she delivers keynotes at major global technology events and advises senior executives on AI strategy, enterprise intelligence, and what genuine transformation looks like in a knowledge-intensive organization.

Meredith holds a B.A. with honors from Wellesley College and an MBA with honors from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
