Alejandro Floreán is an IT market consultant leader in Latin America. He’s an expert of strategic planning, competitive positioning and segmentation of IT vertical markets.
Mr. Floreán is responsible for managing research and consulting practice of Enterprise Solutions in Latin America due to his extensive knowledge in software solutions, professional services of IT, outsourcing, implementation of information systems, market research for the demand and supply of IT Industry and strategic planning, using the Balanced Scorecared methodology.
He was a pioneer in IDC Latin America in implementing Go-to-Market strategies for IT Technology, occupying the leadership of GMS & Conferences in Mexico.
Before joining IDC, Alejandro was a Business Solutions manager in Electronic Strategy Services, S.A. for eight years, where he had the responsibility for developing research and consulting projects.
Alejandro Floreán holds an Engineering Bachelor Degree at Electronic Communications from the “Instituto Politécnico Nacional” and he is enrolled in the Business Management Program of the “Universidad de las Américas” in Mexico. He has the ITIL Essential certification and also takes part of the Editorial Advisory Board of “Smuggling and Piracy” the Reforma newspaper, Mexico City.
