With IDC CEMA since 2001, Vladimir Kroa leads IDC's IT and business services and solutions program in Central & Eastern Europe and Middle East/Africa. As Program Director, he is responsible for the direction and development of the program, covering the complete range of IT services from support services, system integration, outsourcing services (including offshore services) to business services and solutions. Mr. Kroa has been involved in numerous projects ranging from market forecast and analysis studies of the CEE and MEA IT services markets to strategic consulting projects such as market entry, competitive and comparative analysis, IT skills and end-user studies. He has also participated in local and international projects, assessing the impact of new services development and attending clients' internal training sessions and conferences.

Before accepting the position at IDC CEMA in Prague, Mr. Kroa was a part of IDC's Worldwide Services program in Framingham, Massachusetts. Prior to joining IDC, he was an equity analyst at Trillium Asset Management in Boston, where he conducted financial, strategic, and social research, and wrote equity briefs. Mr. Kroa was also a Project Scientist at Roy F.Weston, Inc., a consulting and engineering firm in Boston.

Mr. Kroa holds an M.A. in International Business and Development Economics from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in the US, and an engineering degree from the Czech University of Agriculture. He also studied one semester at the Harvard Business School.
