This IDC study presents market shares for the worldwide services market for 2022 broken down into macromarkets (i.e., project-oriented services, managed services, and support services) and microregion (i.e., Americas, EMEA, and Asia/Pacific).
"2022 was challenged by economic uncertainties and slowdown in post-COVID-19 IT spending, resulting in the services growth in the low-single digits," says Nishant Bansal, associate research director, Worldwide Services at IDC. "Growth was completely driven by the Americas region across all three primary markets, while both APJ and EMEA declined during the year."
