This IDC study presents market shares for the worldwide business and IT services market for 2023 broken down into macromarkets (i.e., project-oriented services, managed services, and support services) and microregions (i.e., Americas, EMEA, and Asia/Pacific).
"The growth in 2023 was challenged as organizations remained selective with their spend owing to challenging economic conditions, resulting in the services growth in the low-single digits," says Nishant Bansal, associate research director, Worldwide Services at IDC. "Slowdown in developed economies such as the United States, Canada, and Australia and emerging economies like China and India contributed to the slowdown."
