This IDC Tech Buyer Presentation highlights the overall findings from IDC's August 2023 Future of Operations (FoO) Survey. This biannual Future of Operations Survey aims to better understand the determinants of operational excellence and resilience and how organizations can transform operations through digital technology. For the purposes of this study, operations referred to the activities responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient execution of physical processes central to an organization's business. This IDC Tech Buyer Presentation focuses on the overall results, which includes 864 organizations in 16 industry subsegments and 14 countries across the globe.
