Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight provides a perspective on how IT buyers are evaluating primary processors for their infrastructure in the next 12–24 months. Performance, price and, then finally, energy savings are the key reasons for changing the processor type. These insights were provided by respondents to a worldwide web-based survey on enterprise infrastructure as part of IDC's 3Q23 Enterprise Infrastructure Pulse Survey fielded in November 2023.
