Abstract
This IDC Survey shows a remarkable shift from cyber-focused resiliency to an acceleration of customer experience and digital product, services, and experience innovation. Enterprises now are prioritising innovation and speed as new technologies, such as generative AI (GenAI) capturing the importance of having data, analytics, and AI capabilities as prime investment areas. This year, IDC has combined all 440 enterprise responses into one Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) report format with country and segment analysis where appropriate. This is the first of three reports, which provides a deep dive into the ANZ IT ecosystem. This study provides an in-depth analysis of changes in digital attitudes, business priorities, challenges, and skills gaps.
