Abstract
This IDC Survey provides insights into the major datacenter deployment trends that are impacting enterprises in Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ). This presentation delves into the APEJ datacenter trends related to enterprise deployment, types of investments, and engagement with sustainability, as well as provides an overview of the footprint in terms of power, space, and efficiency amidst the proliferation of AI use cases because of generative AI (GenAI).
This survey was conducted in 13 countries globally with an APEJ sample size of 610 for 13 countries in the region, including Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), India, Greater China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), and South Korea.
