Abstract


This IDC Survey Spotlight measures the commitment of European SMB-focused partners toward five major technology vendors. By asking partners which vendor they viewed as their top strategic partner, it is possible to create a commitment coefficient [(number of businesses citing Vendor X as their most strategic partner/number of businesses partnered with Vendor X) * 100 = Vendor X commitment coefficient %].

Findings and analysis in this IDC Survey Spotlight are based on a data cut from the wider 2022 European Partner Survey. In this data cut, we look at SMB-focused partners, defined as those that derive 70% or more of their revenues from the SMB customer segment. The SMB customer segment within this survey is defined as those companies with a maximum of 499 employees. IDC surveyed 142 SMB-focused partners active across 18 European countries.
