This IDC Survey Spotlight focuses on the main challenges in the adoption of edge solutions in the European Union and the most sought-after use cases for the technology.
It provides a breakdown by industry vertical, looking at how the main criteria for not adopting edge influence industries differently. It also examines the major use cases that are common across different industries and not limited to a specific one.
This IDC Survey Spotlight is based on IDC's European Cloud, Edge, and IoT Demand Survey, conducted in March of 2023, that surveyed 700 organizations in the European Union, spanning multiple countries. The survey was conducted within the UNLOCK-CEI project, funded by the European Commission under Grant Agreement number 101070571.
