Yoko Ono

Research Manager, Communications, IDC Japan

Yoko Ono is a Research Manager in the Communications Group based in Japan. She covers Japan's business network services and datacenter services. Newly emerging wide-area decentralized platform and edge/fog computing are also her areas.

She has more than fifteen years’ experience in market research and consulting. Before joining IDC, she worked for a IT research firm where she managed strategic consulting and research projects for new IT businesses.

Prior to joining the consultant firm, she worked for NTT where she was involved in the planning and development of the network infrastructure as a systems engineer and InfoCom Research, Inc. as a marketing researcher.

She holds MSc (Media and Communications Regulation) from LSE (London School of Economics and Political Science).
