Denise Lund

Research Director

Denise Lund is a Research Director covering IDC's Mobile Enterprise research programs.  In this position, she provides coverage of mobile services and software solutions of key stakeholders across the enterprise mobility ecosystem.  She has particular focus in her research on operators strategies for bringing mobile services to businesses and mobile application development platform solutions. Ms. Lund looks in depth at the market opportunity for wireless data services in enterprises, including MNC strategies and mobile life-cycle management services. In this capacity, Ms. Lund provides ongoing research for IDC’s Continuous Information Service (CIS), market forecasts, custom consulting, and Go-To-Market services.


Prior to joining IDC, Ms. Lund spent more than 16 years in the mobile and enterprise services industries, holding various strategic market and competitive analysis positions in the areas of telematics, mobile enterprise and consumer content and services delivery. She most recently served as Director of Global Intelligence, WEX, Inc., and has held senior analyst positions at companies such as Qualcomm, Yankee Group, CIO and actually started her career at IDC in the late 1990s. Ms. Lund has spent a good portion of her career assessing the size and nature of opportunities for enterprise services, such as fleet management services, prepaid services, and a broad range of managed mobility services.  She has experience analyzing competitive positioning and market drivers.
