Anastasia Antonova

Market Analyst

Anastasia Antonova is a market analyst within the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Software Research Team, based in New Zealand. Anastasia’s key focus areas include Enterprise Applications, Big Data & Analytics, and Data Platforms software markets. In this role Anastasia is responsible for market sizing across ANZ, segmentation and data analysis, and establishing forecasts and trends. She provides qualitative analysis and market insights utilising primary research data collected via interviews, briefings, surveys, and also secondary research.

Before moving into her current role, Anastasia was part of the Hardware team at IDC. As a hardware analyst, Anastasia engaged with printing and peripherals vendors as well as channel and industry experts to support the IPDS ANZ research programme. Using a mix of both primary research and secondary sources, Anastasia was responsible for preparing clearly articulated, well-researched, and credible market reports; sizing and forecasting the New Zealand printing peripherals; and monitoring the market on an ongoing basis.

Anastasia has over three years of professional experience working with hardware and software vendors as an Assistant Project Manager. She was engaged in a number of IT projects concurrently and her main responsibilities were spread around project management and business analysis activities.

Anastasia earned her bachelor's degree at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. In New Zealand, Anastasia graduated with honors from Auckland University of Technology Business School, specialising in Business Information Systems.
