Taher Abdel-Hameed is a research analyst with IDC, working in the Mobile Phone, PC Monitors, and Large Professional Display team. He is responsible for managing the Egypt research for these programs and assisting the team on other research in EMEA.
Prior to IDC, Taher has worked as senior marketing specialist at HPS Holding, a Chinese company with a multinational team that distributes its products globally. At HPS, Taher managed market research and analytics, identifying international business opportunities and analyzing the competitive landscape. He also handled their branding and marketing communications.
Taher has more than five years of experience in marketing and more than two years in sales. He has exposure to industries and activities, including business development, branding, event marketing, advertising, CRM, export marketing, digital marketing, analytics, and market research. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
