Abstract
This IDC Survey details results from IDC's Commercial Smartphone, Wearables, and Smart Office Survey, which was fielded in December 2022. The survey asked respondents questions regarding enterprise adoption of and attitudes toward a variety of devices and services deployed across the organization. This IDC Survey document focuses on aspects of the survey related to the use of smart office devices.
"Smart office devices are garnering increasing interest as workforces continue to shift toward hybrid environments," said Adam Wright, research manager for IDC's Smart Home and Office Devices program. "Smart displays for employees to use at home or in the office are the leading device type planned for future investment, but costs, security concerns, and issues with linking devices to existing back-end systems are constraining deployments."
