Abstract
This IDC Perspective assesses SS&C Blue Prism Process Intelligence (BPPI) task mining software. BPPI is an OEM of ABBYY Timeline. Blue Prism enhanced task mining with its Capture application that takes the output of task mining, improves it in the Capture design studio, and exports it into a form compatible with BP RPA studio.
"The combination of BPPI and Capture promises to improve the accuracy and speed of developing tasks automated using BP RPA," says Maureen Fleming, program vice president, IDC AI and Automation Research Practice. "SS&C BP customers using BPPI and Capture will be able to better support citizen automation programs, for task automation and augmentation, and to improve business processes executed using Chorus."
