Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights data from IDC's March 2023 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 2, concerning the business impact of generative AI in the next 18 months. Respondents to the survey expect software development and design to be the business area where generative AI will have the greatest short-term impact. More than 60% of survey respondents said their organization is already investing in or exploring use cases for generative AI technologies this year.
