Abstract
This IDC Survey includes data from IDC's Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey conducted in June 2023. The document provides the results and analysis from a global survey of 1,014 senior leaders. The survey was designed to understand the regional differences around the current status of generative AI (GenAI) initiatives and investments in organizations today.
Worldwide organizations are most likely to invest in GenAI, with North America leading the way. Over a third of all respondents' organizations will deploy ChatGPT and other GenAI capabilities. GenAI presents opportunities for professionals to adapt and upskill, improving efficiency and eligibility for new roles and enhancing employees' productivity and driving employees' focus on higher-value tasks for both LOB and frontline workers.
