This IDC study provides the worldwide market shares for supply chain management applications. This market grew nicely in 2022, paced by accelerating investment in public cloud deployments. Growth in the supply chain management applications market continues to be driven not only by the historical need for omni-channel "buy anywhere, fulfill anywhere" processes but also by the need for digital competencies to allow the supply chain to pivot to new business models and seize on new opportunities.
"The importance of the supply chain in an inherently disruptive world is critical for businesses to meet their performance targets. Without the use of modern supply chain management tools, supply chains simply cannot compete at the levels necessary for competitive differentiation.
