SINGAPORE, 15 February 2024 – GenAI continues to fuel the AI Everywhere revolution, rewriting the rules of the game, transforming how organizations create, analyze, and extract value from data. In a recent FutureScape report, IDC predicts that by 2027, 45% of enterprises will have mastered the use of Generative AI to codevelop digital products and services leading to double the revenue growth compared with their competitors.
In today's digital landscape, thriving organizations are those that embrace the transformative power of AI Everywhere. These are the digital businesses that are crafting hyper-personalized experiences, optimizing operations with intelligent automation, solving real-world problems with creative AI solutions, among others. Organizations that master digital technologies, such as AI, are the beacons of IDC’s vision of the Future Enterprise.
“The speed and clarity of purpose to deliver business outcomes at scale from the adoption of GenAI is unprecedented compared to the other emerging technologies we have seen. With almost a third of Asia/Pacific Japan organizations already in pilot and production of their GenAI capabilities, I am excited to see the new innovations that will advance the region’s standing as the leader in this AI Everywhere revolution,” says Sandra Ng, Group Vice President, IDC Asia/Pacific.

IDC’s Future Enterprise Awards follows a two-phased approach to determine country and regional winners. Each nomination is evaluated by a team of local and regional IDC analysts against a standard assessment framework based on IDC’s Future Enterprise taxonomy. All country winners will qualify for the regional competition to be decided by a panel of judges comprising IDC analysts, industry practitioners, thought leaders, and academia around the globe.
In 2023, the IDC Future Enterprise Awards received more than 900 nominations from over 600 unique end-user organizations across Asia/Pacific Japan. 142 country winners and 21 regional winners were awarded last year for successfully displaying their sustainable and innovative digital transformation to the highest degree. This includes China’s GAC Group and Hong Kong’s Mox Bank Limited (Future Enterprise of the Year Award), the Philippines’ Manish Bhai of UNO Digital Bank (CEO of the Year Award), and George Wang of Singapore Airlines, Australia’s Jorge Silveira of Virtus Bank, and China’s Li Cheng Jie of Inner Mongolia Mengniu Dairy (Group) Co., Ltd.
