Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight focuses on the top challenges in the adoption of edge solutions in the European Union and customers' most sought-after capabilities when seeking out strategic edge solution providers for their organizations.
It establishes a previous context that shows the relationship between the need to implement new projects and the requested budget to achieve them. On that premise, we look at the top 5 challenges for edge adoption in companies in the European Union and what capabilities are required from their trusted partners to successfully help them in their edge journeys.
This IDC Survey Spotlight is based on IDC's European Cloud, Edge, and IoT Demand Survey, conducted in March 2023, that surveyed 700 organizations in the European Union, spanning multiple countries. The survey was conducted within the UNLOCK-CEI project, funded by the European Commission under Grant Agreement number 101070571.
