Abstract
This IDC Market Note discusses the October 2023 announcement by Intel and Asus that they have formally concluded the handover of the NUC division from the American chip manufacturer to the Taiwanese hardware manufacturer. Intel announced in July that it would terminate its NUC division to enable ecosystem partners to continue the product line going forward. Asus will be taking over the product line's manufacturing and product support, in addition to further developing these NUC systems as new technologies come to market.
