BACKGROUND

Mr. Townsend brings 20+ years of engineering and operational management experience at manufacturers serving the Life Sciences industry including Carl Zeiss, Ametek, and Danaher.  He served as President and CEO of Dover Instrument Corporation prior to and including its merger with Danaher Corporation.  He has been involved in the specification, design and operation of ERP and CRM systems in various management roles.

EDUCATION/INDUSTRY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Mr. Townsend holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Connecticut including post-graduate work at Babson College.
