Abstract


This IDC Survey looks at content services as it pertains to the content supply chain. IDC's Enterprise Content and Knowledge Management Services team conducted a survey of 714 IT decision makers in North America to explore the current state of content services as well as future plans, including views about generative AI and the Unified Content Model. This IDC Survey examines the benefits, impacts, and implementation models of content services that influence customer engagement and experiences.

For the purposes of this survey, IDC defined "content services" as technologies that enable users to capture, create, share, route, collaborate on, organize, distribute, publish, and store content in a variety of formats including text, images, audio, and video.
