This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights results from the following question posed to 476 respondents and firms with 1,000+ employees across 5 countries, and several major industries, as part of IDC's 2023 Worldwide Managed Services Survey. "Role of Sourcing Advisors for Managed Services: Were your company/organization to use a third-party sourcing advisor to help choose the best managed service provider for your needs, please select which of the following your company/organization views as the "primary role" of the sourcing advisor?" This IDC Survey Spotlight then assesses the impact of enterprise priorities when utilizing sourcing advisors on where managed service providers (SPs) need to invest to optimize their opportunities in winning deals in which sourcing advisors are involved with assisting enterprises in selecting managed SPs.
