Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights the results of IDC's latest SSE/SASE Buyer Adoption Survey, which dives deep into buyer perspectives on security priorities, experiences, and expectations. Condensing three to five (or more) security products into features of a single coherent product provides tight integration, telemetry sharing, policy sharing, more efficient operation/management, and overall increased security efficacy, in theory. However, many of these benefits are only realized if the security components of an SSE/SASE solution come from a single vendor, with the ability to tightly tie everything together on the back end.
