Yukihisa Hode

Yukihisa Hode is a Market Analyst of IDC's Japan Enterprise Infrastructure group based in Tokyo. In this role, he is responsible for the analysis and forecast on hyperconverged infrastructure and converged systems in Japan. In addition, he conducts research on emerging area in Japanese storage market including software-defined storage and file- and object-based storage.

In IDC Japan, he covered enterprise storage systems market, vertical and segment market in Japan. He made contributions to widen Japan storage research program by launching new research such as cloud storage service and storage demand analysis among Japanese service providers.

Prior to joining IDC Japan, Mr. Hode worked at a Japanese telecommunications company for more than 10 years where he was responsible for enterprise sales promotion and business development. In this period, he was seconded to a non-profit research institute for 2 years where he was responsible for research on information systems in financial institutions.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tokyo, Japan.
