Upasana Joshi is an Associate Research Manager for Channel Research at IDC India. Based in Delhi, Upasana is primarily responsible for City Level Smartphone Tracker in India. The research involves analyzing the trends within Smart Phone domain, market sizing, brand performance analysis, price analysis, qualitative analysis on consumer buying behavior, tracking marketing schemes and conducting field surveys. Upasana has been actively involved in building up new platforms for this tracker within IDC.
Upasana carries an enriching work experience of more than four years within research, consulting and data analysis domain. Prior to joining IDC, Upasana was working within Consumer Durable Industry with GfK Nielsen India Pvt. Ltd. She has in depth research knowledge about product categories like Air Conditioner, Washing Machines, Panel Television, and Audio Home Systems etc. She has worked extensively in panel based research, data analysis, developing marketing strategies for clients, conceptualizing dashboards, secondary research, CRM databases and new product development. Upasana was into a Client facing role at GfK, handling portfolios of the leading brands within Durable industry.
