This IDC Survey Spotlight examines how interest in AI to improve customer experience (CX) varies by company size among SMB organizations (<1,000 employees) and highlights an interesting bifurcation of the market. AI seems to be the latest buzzword across the tech industry; however, savvy marketers and innovative martech vendors have been implementing this technology for years. As such, new investment in AI to improve business operations and the customer experience may fall to a lower priority among other data analytics and automation priorities.
