Mick Heys is Vice President, European Imaging, Printing and Document Solutions (IPDS). In this role, Heys delivers key insights and intelligence on the evolving IPDS landscape, supports IDC's customer engagements and drives the research and consulting agenda. Specifically, he covers workflow, BPO, ECM, and 3D printing and scanning with a major impact on industry supply chains. Additionally, Heys and his team look at the battle around the transition from paper to digital, mobility first and cloud service delivery and the opportunities that this presents when moving to the 3rd Platform.

Heys has extensive experience in the imaging and document industry having worked in sales and marketing leadership positions for a number of leading companies addressing the hardware, solutions and technology segments including Nuance Communications, Canon, Oki, Global Graphics and Software Imaging. He has also worked in consultancy roles for Gartner, BIS Strategic Decisions as well as a previous stint at IDC.

Heys has a BSC in printing technology from Manchester Metropolitan University. He is based in IDC's London office.
