Daniel Povis

IT Services Analyst, Latin America

Daniel Povis joined IDC Latin America in January 2011 as Analyst in charge of covering IT Services market in Peru and Software markets in the region. Currently, he is responsible for the IT Services market studies of Argentine and Peru. His duties include the participation in research and consulting projects for both countries and the whole region.

He has more than twelve years of experience in the analysis and design of IT solutions and in the management of IT Projects. He has a significant experience in BPM (Business Process Management) and has vast expertise in designing and developing tailored IT solutions and in implementing ERP software applications.

Prior to joining IDC, Daniel has fulfilled diverse positions such as Software Engineer, Process Engineer, Business Analyst, Project Manager, and General Manager for some companies in Peru and abroad.

Daniel holds a BS degree in Systems Engineering from University of Lima and has done postgraduate studies in e-Business in ESAN University. In addition, he has undergraduate training in Industrial Engineering at the University of Lima. He is based in Lima, Peru.
