Abstract
This IDC PlanScape provides business and technology leaders guidance regarding the adoption of GenAI technology for the purpose of reducing the level of effort in creating, accessing, or sharing content, documents, code, or knowledge within the organization. The business value or outcome of this investment is to improve productivity and streamline the experience to purchase products/services or complete a task by internal or external users. It will describe the key evaluation criteria, use cases, risks, and success measures in deploying, implementing, and managing GenAI tools.
