Lidice Fernandez

Program Vice President, Worldwide Tracker Research

Lidice Fernandez is the Program Vice President responsible for all areas of IDC’s Enterprise Trackers globally. This includes IDC’s server, enterprise storage systems, converged infrastructure, cloud IT infrastructure, server and storage workloads, enterprise networks, purpose built back up appliances, and security appliances Trackers and forecast products. Ms. Fernandez’s leads a team of analysts in charge of the product concept, roadmap, implementation, execution and client support for IDC’s enterprise infrastructure Trackers and forecast worldwide; and in her role, she also oversees the quarterly interaction among a global group of more than 50 IDC analysts in different regions that participate in the quarterly execution of all enterprise infrastructure Trackers and forecast for IDC.

 

BACKGROUND

Previously, Lidice was Research Director for IDC's Enterprise programs, and IT Services in Latin America. During her 7-year tenure within the IDC Latin America group she was responsible for all regional research and consulting projects focused on the enterprise markets. Prior to joining IDC, Ms. Fernandez worked as a system engineer for Sun Microsystems Mexico, served as sales executive for a Sun Microsystems reseller, and was the lead engineer managing the launch of the Streaming and Multimedia services for StarMedia Network, Inc. in Mexico.
