Country-Specific Privacy Addendum for Australia, last updated: 19 February 2026
This Country-Specific Privacy Addendum for Australia (“Addendum”) applies to all IDC customers and website visitors based in Australia. This Addendum supplements the information contained in the Privacy Policy.
IDC is respectful of data privacy and adopts best practices in compliance with applicable privacy law and regulations, including the Privacy Act 1988, as amended (“Privacy Act”) and the Australian Privacy Principles (“APPs”) contained in the Privacy Act.
Data Transfers
We may disclose your personal data to overseas recipients in compliance with Section 6 of the Privacy Policy. Any transfer of your personal data outside Australia only takes place if the requirements of the Privacy Act have been fulfilled.
Your Rights
For a comprehensive description of your data subject rights, including the right to access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, and consent withdrawal, please refer to Section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
Under the APPs, you specifically have the right to request access to your personal information that we hold (APP 12) and to request correction of any personal information that is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading (APP 13).
Where lawful and practicable, you also have the option to interact with IDC anonymously or by using a pseudonym (APP 2).

The Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you are concerned that your personal data has been mishandled, please contact privacy@idc.com and put APPs Complaint in the subject line. We will respond to you without undue delay and at the latest within 30 days after receipt of your complaint. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this Addendum
We may periodically modify the provisions of this Addendum and encourage you to review it from time to time in order to stay up to date with the most recent developments in the area of the protection of your personal data. In the event of significant changes, we may also choose to notify you via email should we have your email address in our records.
Updated versions of this Addendum will be published on our website.
