Staying up to date with Recent Changes

IDC systems and data are evolving every day to deliver more value and to stay relevant to the needs of IDC customers.

There are two types of changes that any client integrating with IDC systems should be aware of:

  1. Changes in the data structure that have no impact of the delivery technology, for example adding or removing certain columns from data set of a particular product. These will have no impact on the delivery technology and agreed format, but they will impact how the retrieved data will be ingested into your system(s).
You will only receive notifications for the products your company subscribes to.
  2. Changes in the integration itself, for example a new way of filtering within an API end point or a new folder structure on an SFTP server. IDC will try to make any change in the delivery technology backward compatible but there are situations when this is just not possible.
In such case IDC will introduce a new version of the API and provide its clients with a 6-month period to migrate from the old version to the latest one.

IDC provides an option for anyone interested to be notified. In order to remain up to date with any of the changes please make sure you will keep the list of email addresses on file with IDC updated. Please email idc_support@idc.com any time there is a change (an employee is changing their responsibilities, or a new member joins the integration team.
