Support & Resources
Integrating with IDC’s services is a collaborative process. IDC provides support to ensure your API, SFTP, or SSO integration runs smoothly. Below are avenues for assistance and additional resources:
Customer Support Contact
For any technical issues or questions, you can reach out to IDC’s support team via
- Email at idc_support@idc.com (preferred)
- Or phone +1 508-935-4323. If no one will be available to pick up the phone leave a message and it will be directed to the support team who will get back to you.
Our support team will either answer your questions directly or they will direct you to one of the IDC experts for your specific questions.
When contacting support, provide as much detail as possible (e.g., your company name, the API key or SFTP username if applicable, specific error messages, and timestamp of issue). IDC’s support can assist with troubleshooting errors, regenerating API keys, SFTP connectivity problems, SSO configuration questions, and more.
You can always check the latest version of the online documentation available at IDC Integration Services Home Page
The portal includes:
- An up-to-date API Reference
- An up-to-date SFTP Integration manual
- Single Sign on setup manual
- Additional guides or tutorials.
- Code samples
Release Notification
As mentioned, IDC will send out email notifications for important changes – e.g., a new API version, deprecation notices, or data schema changes in products. Ensure the right people in your team are on these distribution lists (Staying up to date with Recent Changes). We recommend providing IDC with a group email (like techops@yourcompany.com or similar) or at least two contacts to receive such updates. If you have not been receiving any emails, reach out to support to confirm your notification contacts.
Providing Feedback
IDC welcomes feedback on their integration services. If you have suggestions (e.g., new features in the API, improvements to documentation, etc.), let them know. Developer feedback often drives the next enhancements.
Channel all your feedback through idc_support@idc.com.
With these resources and support channels, you should feel confident in building and maintaining your integration with IDC. Remember that while the initial setup might require coordination, once it’s in place, the ongoing operations (data downloads, user logins via SSO) should run routinely. And whenever you need assistance or adjustments, IDC is there to help.
